Summary:
Our client requires a Senior
Operations Manager. All qualified candidates will be considered but the
subscribers to The Asian Report will be given top priority and only then will we
go to our database to fill the positions.
Description:
- Assist V.P. for Infrastructure and Development in monitoring the progress
of ongoing capital projects.
- Reviews critical deliverables from the PMC team for compliance with ADPC
procedures.
- Review of weekly project reports.
- Reviews internal processes for compliance.
- Reviews all tracking reports and identifies issues of concerns.
- Identifies procedural deficiencies and ensures that they are rectified.
- Assist VP ID in assessing physical progress on site (focus on Onshore
activities).
- Assist VP and Sr. Operations Manager in tracking the performance of the
PMC and ADPC staff in ID department.
- Assist VP during performance reviews and recruitment drive.
- Assist VP and Sr. Operations Manager in developing new tracking method to
assess performance, when warranted.
- Assist in management of projects currently being directly managed by the
VP.
- Provides ADPC management level oversight on the performance of the
construction activities (focus on onshore activities).
- Participate in onshore-related technical meeting, currently attended by
the VP due to a shortage of competent resources.
- Assists Sr. Operations Manager in ensuring the close out of action items
identified in weekly management meetings.
- Provides VP with additional expertise in assessing the performance and
quality of onshore construction activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 years of increasing responsibility.
- Minimum of 10 years of Project Management Experience and including
coordination between a variety of design professionals (MEP, Site/Civil,
Structural, Coastal and Ocean Engineers, etc) and contractors.
- Minimum of 5 years of personnel management experience, ideally in a time
driven, multi-cultural environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of auditing experience.
- Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Civil or Marine engineering field (or
related sub-field such as coastal or ocean engineering).
