Summary:
Management Consultants of Asia will sign a contract in January for the design, development, drilling services, construction, commissioning and maintenance of a new oil and gas field. The first phase of the project will encompass at least 180 development wells and its infrastructure. The first phase is scheduled to be completed by 2011. The success candidates will be mobilized in February. All qualified candidates will be considered but the subscribers to The Asian Report will be given top priority and only then will we go to our database to fill the positions. Only the short-listed candidates will be notified. A Human Resource’s team will screen and select the various candidates for the project.
Description:
Develops schedule/cost data for proposals or contract negotiations as directed.
Identifies scope associated with schedule activities as directed.
Identifies work activities within a discipline area or areas.
Performs routine quantity takeoffs for all commodities within each discipline or other specialty from engineering and construction drawings.
Develops quantities for undefined scope assumptions, or verifies quantities provided by others.
Determines work sequences for a specific discipline or specialty.
Identifies inter-discipline restraints or interfaces which define activity sequence.
Develops and applies unit rates to quantity factored estimates within a discipline or specialty as directed by others.
Compiles duration’s for activities within a discipline or specialty.
Assembles and compiles estimate data and prepares specific budget categories in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures.
Perform quantity and work force resource loading as directed.
Perform assigned tasks related to establishing and or implementing cost standards for recording, reporting and analyzing performance data.
Performs performance monitoring and control functions for specific applications.
Gathers required information from other disciplines or groups and formulates schedule commitments.
Assists in developing specific codes of accounts as directed.
Perform assigned tasks related to establishing and or implementing standards and techniques for updating and monitoring the schedule.
Reports schedule deviations for an assigned discipline and recommends corrective action to get back on schedule.
Perform routine data analysis and development as directed.
Collects study information and verifies accuracy of data.
Work with discipline of specialty groups to develop study support data.
Collects and classifies cost engineering data as directed.
Gathers and verifies schedule work force and quantities for data updating.
Gathers and prepares actual job, work force, revenue and cost data for Project Financial Status Reports.
Requirements:
Skilled in oral and written communication.
Knowledge of engineering and construction management customarily acquired by prolonged course of specialized instruction or practical experience.
Experienced with P3 scheduling.
Minimum of fifteen years overseas experience required.
Skilled in coordinating efforts with various construction functions.
Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing and solving problems.
