Summary:
Management Consultants of Asia will sign a contract in January for the design, development, drilling services, construction, commissioning and maintenance of a new oil and gas field. The first phase of the project will encompass at least 180 development wells and its infrastructure. The first phase is scheduled to be completed by 2011. The success candidates will be mobilized in February. All qualified candidates will be considered but the subscribers to The Asian Report will be given top priority and only then will we go to our database to fill the positions. Only the short-listed candidates will be notified. A Human Resource’s team will screen and select the various candidates for the project.
Description:
Reviewing technical submittals including quality control schedules, start-up plans and schedule.
Review drawings and co-ordinate with chief discipline engineers where needed.
Coordinate with Contracts Supervisors to assure that required submittals are obtained from subcontractors.
Participate in the preparation of technical features of Request for Changes and Contract Change orders and evaluate claims.
Supervise quantity take-off as required to monitor and control works.
Monitor subcontractors inspection schedules for contracts assigned to them, and ensure testing is performed.
Order verification tests as needed.
Perform other related issues as directed by management.
Evaluate change orders and claims.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University or equivalent.
A minimum of 12 years experience as Field Engineer/Contract Supervisor or similar with site supervision responsibilities.
Previous overseas experience.
Experience must relate to construction of major oilfield facilities.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Construction Industry.
