Summary:
Our client has a contract for the refurbishment of the several existing platforms and needs to ensure that all Design Documentation and Specifications meet International Standards. All applicants will be considered but the subscribers to The Asian Report will be given top priority and only then will we go to our database to fill the positions. Only the short listed candidates will be notified.
Description:
Knowledgeable principles and practices of related disciplines.
Knowledgeable of related construction practices and the economics involved.
Skilled in coordinating efforts with other crafts functions.
Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing and solving problems.
Strong analytical, project management and problem solving skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft XP, Office 2003 and various engineering software.
Be able to interact at all levels with the client, consultant and subcontractors.
Principles and practices of related disciplines.
Knowledgeable of related construction practices and the economics involved.
Requirements:
Previous working experience on off-shore platforms is mandatory.
The successful candidate will be mobilized ASAP.
Experience on overseas projects, particularly in Asia is highly desirable.
Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Marine or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University.
Minimum of 12 years experience in Mechanical Engineering.
A valid Offshore Survival & medical certificate will be required.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Construction Industry.
Minimum of ten years overseas experience required.
