Summary:
Our Client will start the construction of a Petro-chemical Facility and associated work that is scheduled to start in the first quarter. The contract duration is approximately two years. All qualified applicants will be considered but the subscribers to The Asian Report will be given top priority and only then will we go to our database to fill the positions. Only the short listed candidates will be notified
Description:
Knowledgeable of principles and practices of related disciplines.
Knowledgeable of related construction practices and the economics involved.
Knowledge of industry standards pertinent to your particular discipline and the economics involved.
Skilled in coordinating efforts with other crafts functions.
Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing and solving problems.
Job duties include planning, scheduling and providing work directions for all Piping work as required.
Reports and related data.
Monitor & supervise all personnel under your control.
Ensure completion of detailed tasks are completed on time and within the budget.
Strong analytical, project management and problem solving skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft XP.
Be able to interact at all levels with the client, consultants and subcontractors.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University or equivalent.
The candidate will have the minimum of 15 years working experience with a Engineering, Procurement and Construction contractor within the oil and gas sector.
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Mechanical/Piping Superintendent.
Minimum of 8 years overseas experience required.
