Summary:
An Engineering, Procurement and Construction contractor needs a Qualified and Experienced Instrumental Engineer for a long term contract in Indonesia. All applicants will be considered but the subscribers to The Asian Report will be given top priority and only then will we go to our database to fill the position.
Description:
The successful candidate will lead the company Instrumentation Engineering Department.
The successful candidate will issue Scope of Works, Basic Study and Detail Design for site modifications.
The successful candidate will Train and Coach Junior Engineers in his department.
The successful candidate will ensure all work that is done by his department will be done in a professional manner.
The successful candidate will plan, schedule and provide work directions for all work in the company Instrumentation Engineering Department as required.
Knowledgeable of principles and practices of related disciplines.
South East Asia experience preferred but will consider other with overseas experience.
The successful candidate will be skilled in coordinating efforts with other crafts functions.
The successful candidate will demonstrate skill in identifying, analyzing and solving problems.
Reports and related data.
The successful candidate will monitor & supervise all personnel under their control.
The successful candidate will ensure completions of detailed tasks are completed on time and within the budget.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft XP.
The successful candidate will be able to interact at all levels with the client, consultant and subcontractors.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University.
You will have worked for an International Oil and Gas Company as a Instrumental Engineer.
You will have the minimum of 15 years experience in the Controls, Instrument and Electrical Systems for various types of Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Power industries.
You will have the minimum of 5 years experience in the Controls and Instrument front end and detailed design engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
You will have the minimum of 10 years experience in the construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning of on-shore oil and gas facilities.
You will have witnessed FAT, installed, pre-commission or commission DCS or PLC based processed control and safety shutdown systems for new oil and gas facilities.
You will be familiar with all international design codes and standards for Controls, Instrument and Electrical Systems.
You will be familiar with SHE requirements.
You will have experience in preparing and conducting technical training.
