Summary:
Management Consultants of Asia will sign a contract in January for the design, development, drilling services, construction, commissioning and maintenance of a new oil and gas field. The first phase of the project will encompass at least 180 development wells and its infrastructure. The first phase is scheduled to be completed by 2011. The success candidates will be mobilized in February. All qualified candidates will be considered but the subscribers to The Asian Report will be given top priority and only then will we go to our database to fill the positions. Only the short-listed candidates will be notified. A Human Resource’s team will screen and select the various candidates for the project.
Description:
Knowledgeable of related construction practices and the economics involved.
Skilled in coordinating efforts with other crafts functions.
Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing and solving problems.
Job duties include planning, scheduling and providing work directions for all Electrical work as required.
Reports and related data.
Monitor & supervise all personnel under your control.
Ensure completions of detailed tasks are completed on time and within the budget.
Knowledgeable principles and practices of related disciplines.
Strong analytical, project management and problem solving skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 2000.
Be able to interact at all levels with the client, consultant and contractors.
Review technical submittals.
Review drawings and coordinate with discipline engineers where needed and ensure reviewed drawings are available to all parties.
Coordinate with Contract Supervisors to assure the required technical submittals are obtained from contractors.
Participate in the preparation of Field Change Requests and Change Orders.
Supervise quantity take-offs.
Monitor contractor’s inspection program and quality control program, drawings and monitor as-built.
Requirements:
A minimum of 12 years experience as an Electrical Superintendent is required.
Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University or equivalent.
Minimum of tent years overseas experience required.
Skilled in coordinating efforts with various construction functions.
Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing and solving problems.
